Out-Patient vs. Hospitalization

In an effort to reduce your medical expenses, our doctors and staff are trained to perform surgery on an out-patient basis whenever possible. However, certain more complex surgeries may require hospitalization.

Out-patient surgery allows patients to go home on the same day as a surgical procedure is performed. In many cases this is a cost effective and convenient alternative to the traditional hospital stay. Our facilities are equipped with state of the art surgical suites and private recovery areas where patients can rest until they are released.

In the event that hospitalization is required, our surgeons are on staff at some of the most prestigious hospitals in St Louis, St. Charles and St. Peters. A facility that best meets your needs can be selected during your consultation.

Surgical Staff

Drs. Kelsey Smith and Clark Priddy are board-certified oral surgeons (Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) and licensed by the State of Missouri to practice this specialty.

Our surgical staff includes Surgical Assistants certified by the AAOMS to assist in administration of General Anesthetic. We maintain a requirement for all staff to be CPR certified and all participate in yearly continuing education programs.
