Payment for Services

Our goal is to provide excellent service at a fair fee. Fees are established by the amount of time spent for the diagnosis, treatment and follow up of your condition. Fees also reflect the complexity, degree of difficulty and risk involved with the procedure.

In order for us to continue to provide Quality Care for our patients, we require payment of fees for exams, x-rays and procedures on the date of service. We can coordinate payment with insurance plans and for special circumstances, financial arrangements can be made with our business coordinator. During your consultation, a frank discussion of fees will be made to answer your questions. We accept Cash, Check, Mastercard, Visa and CareCredit.

Insurance

Medical insurance forms being filled outAs a service to you, we properly code, print and submit your insurance forms. If required, we will send a preauthorization of benefits to your insurance company. A preauthorization request may take 6-8 weeks for a reply.

If you are unsure of your coverage, we recommend that you personally contact your insurance company. Our staff is available to assist you with insurance inquires. However, insurance companies generally are most responsive to requests for information from individual policy holders.

Some procedures that we perform may be covered by medical insurance. Therefore, it is important for you to provide us with Dental and Medical Insurance Forms. Also, bring your insurance card to your consultation because it may contain information necessary to submit your claim.

As healthcare coverage continues to change, it is important that you are aware of the medical and dental benefits offered by your particular insurance program. Individual policies may have restrictions regarding provider selection and services covered. Our doctors are members of many of the major medical and dental insurance plans in St. Louis, St. Charles, St. Peters, Wentzville and neighboring areas.

For procedures covered by insurance, we will estimate the benefit that you are entitled to receive. This estimate is based on our past experience of payment by your insurance company. Depending on your estimated coverage, you will be required to pay from 20%-50% of the fee at the time of service. Since coverage varies with each individual policy, payment adjustments may be required when the claim is submitted. Any unpaid balance will be your responsibility. A refund will be issued if the insurance company pays more than the account balance.
